"You have to use the Windows 2000 part.

Had to deinstall the material, then search for new material. After that, select the CAB file when the installation program asks for a DLL (the DLL is inside the CAB file).

Tested on Windows XP service pack 1."

"I've used my Epson GB-7000 USB successfully with WIndows 98 for years. Now I've upgraded to pentium 4 and XP pro I havent'f found a driver that works - including this one. The computer doesn't even recognise it as a suitable driver for the scanner."

"I've got an Epson GT7000 scanner and can't find a driver anywhere to make it work. Are all drivers now obsolete with Windows XP? My GT7000 isn't a USB it runs of its own scsi card. ANy help with this would be very much appreciated. Anticipated thanks to you. Carl"

"No, once downloaded I still can't get the driver to work. All I get is the screen calibration. Epson opens, but after you've selected your TWAIN, then go to 'Acquire' I just get an error message in Spanish! I'm using a USB scanner on WIN2K operating system."

"having tried several sites the notes here suggested that this would work with GT-7000 USB and Windows XP. I virus checked, unzipped and set the hardware wizard in XP to the location of the unzipped Windows 2000 drivers and Twain. It worked perfectly and the scanner IS working without a problem, it DOES work in XP, it just needs a little bit of work, like 30 seconds or so

"I upgraded from Win98 to XP & had spent hours looking & trying others -this baby worked 1st time -) Thanks mate I now have my Epson Gt-7000 USB online & working. I did following - put extract folder "DRIVER" directly into EPSCAN2 folder (on your C drive)then did add hardware & pointed it to c \Epscan2\DRIVER & bingo everything worked fine"
