This is the long awaited firmware upgrade for the gcc4240n dvd/cdrw combi unit. Double click one the exe file and follow the instructions. You will need a blank formatted floppy. Once the upgrade is created on the floppy restart your computer and boot up off the floppy. Thats it! AT LAST one combi unit updated. Hope this help you.

"This is a FLOPY selected driver, which will not work with my DVD rom.

It is not the firmware I was looking for.

"This upgrade will work on ALL operating systems! I have since tried my combi unit and a lot of the underlying problems i had have now gone!!!!"

How to Update GCC 4240N Device Drivers Quickly & Easily

How to Install a driver from Device Manager

  1. Locate the device and model that is having the issue and double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  2. Select the Driver tab.

  3. Click the Update Driver button and follow the instructions.
