"A fresh install on a new Windows XP Home PC:

Enabled my Visioneeer 6100USB to work first time with Paperport after reading Janet Lee's helpful notes.

* Put Pmxusd.dll in: C:\WINDOWS\Driver Cache\i386

* Renamed 6100u2k.exe to 6100usb.exe after putting it in: C:\Windows\System32\Drivers

* My old 6100USB is faster and quieter than a new Canon LIDE25 I got

This download worked perfectly but you must read the instructions carefully.

I use MS PhotoEditor and now merely select "scan image" and it works beautifully. Thanks to whoever supplied this driver."

"There was a documentation error in the "INSTALL" file for "Changes Only Download". The SCANNERS.ini file must be written to the Vision\Base directory as opposed to the non-existent Vision\i386 directory specified.

Also, it would be helpful if there was an added step after #1 stating: "Overwrite the new Pmxusd.dll file to \i386." It's i
