"I have a NEC 600plus laser printer, which is supported by Win98se, but not supported under XP or XPpro... it was recommended that this driver would work as a substitute... I can confirm that it does and it has given life to the old beast for 2 years now... not without hiccups mostly related to the age of the printer itself... the drum cover stuck at one point and the drive

r was warning that the cover was off, but not specifying which one, and it stopped printing... the cover is no longer in the machine, and it is still working ;) now if I can find more toner, I will be happy for a few more years... hope this encourages someone... oh, and I have had it connected to various machines, from P2 to P4's, latest being a 2.2mhz amd in an Asus mother board..."
