"I have a USB2 pccard when I used it in a Win98se Toshiba laptop it would only work with a few USB devices. I installed this driver and nusb22e.exe. (found on this site also). Since then everything I plugged in to the pccard works including a 23 to 1 card reader, Sandisk U3 flash drive etc. non of these worked before."

"Don't use if the conditions are : VIA chipset (KT600)motherboard and NEC USB 2.0 adapter card.

speed degradation and cpu overhead problems, better with Intel chipset"

"I had problem unzipping the file.I use Win Xp professional operating system.

Does it mean that Xp does not allow winzip program installed to unzip zipped files?

"Nice driver. The USB port on Toshiba Tecra 530CDT worked but not stable. (Without this driver the USB under WinXP did not work at all :-)"

"I went to the Device Manager and tried to get it to install the new driver but Windows 98 said it couldn't find any driver that would work. Even though I pointed it to the file where I had unzipped the file. It's for a USB."

"Hardware wizard did not want to install it. So....don't know if it's the wrong driver for my system, but the installer preferred to keep the original driver, which doesn't work either!!!"

"This driver didn't solve my problem. I might have downloaded the wrong one for my needs (NEC PCI to USB Host Controller new installation), so will try another from the same group, and rate that one."
