"Running XP Pro (SP3) and it detected and installed the driver automatically. But had to come here for the rest of the software. Unzipped this file and installed and it worked like a champ! Thanks for sharing with the rest of us!"

"Driver for the Strategic Commander comes with Windows XP. But the Software is still neede vor configuring profiles.

THANKS Microsoft for "nothing". It took me over 3 hours until i finally had to accept, that MS really doesn't provide it for download. Very glad, that i found it her on driverguide, as my Install-CD has been broken over the years."

"Works/operates well with the controller on my main XP Pro machine in games but won't allow me to program it on this PC. Once I try to asign a button to a key press, it just shuts down. It programs works as it should on my laptop though (with XP Home) so I just save and transfer the profiles from there."

"This driver was discontinued @ the Windows download site, so I was very impressed with the functionality and stability of this version on my (buggy) system.
