"Tried EVERYWHERE to get a WinXP modem driver for the old PCI WinModem in a PacBell 6000AU when I upgraded a customer from Win98 to WinXP...

Ended up just buying a new modem (which also happens to connect reliably at 46kb/S versus the 26kb/S the old modem achieved in Win98)

Recommend using the modem for 'target practice' if you're running XP"
