"I have a Via 1394 firewire card, for which I lost the driver disc, and this set of drivers installed easily, and my Device Manager now recognizes it as a 1394 card. One thing: When it is installing, it says it is installing USB 2 drivers, but it is actually installing the 1394 drivers."

Didn't work on any of them!

One machine took it for a USB Driver

"NOT" a FireWire Driver."

"When you run the executable it begins installing "USB 2.0 Driver v2.1.3.1 Setup" and doesn't prompt you, it just installs and then asks if you want to reboot. Don't run this executable unless you're sure it's what you want."

"This driver will not function with my VIA VT6306 1394 3 +1P firewire card. Windows xp pro see's the card but will not load the driver. Is this the right driver for this card?"

"The SR-IEEE1394A-3121 installed as a network card which had the "yellow circle with !" in System Devices

Win XP

Never got the driver to work.

Bummer as I purchased on Ebay for $0.25 and 14.95 shipping with required insurance."
