MICOM To perform a MICOM upgrade. 1.Create a bootable floppy disk 2.Copy the file dis_pm.exeMICOM quiet utlity to the floppy 3.Copy the pfvgr.exeMICOM update utility to the floppy 4.Copy the MICOM version you want to the floppy 5.Ensure that your machine is powered from the mains, not battery 6.Boot from your bootable floppy disk. 7.At the A: prompt type dis_pm 8.Wait until the dis_pm program has completed, you may need to restart the machine 9.At the A: prompt type pfvgr /s kbc6v10x.rom, where x is the version of MICOM you have copied to the floppy 10.The system will power down once the MICOM update has completed, then remove the floppy disk and continue using your machine.
