THIS IS THE WindowsXP driver set to use for the Creative SB PCI64V - EV1938. It is labeled as a Windows 2000 driver on a Gateway 2150 laptop. The driver version is 5.12.1.3303 and is the ONLY version I have found to work (and it has worked twice for me)

"I needed the drivers for this soun card because I had to format my PC and didnt remember where I put the cd driver, I downloaded this file and I must admit I didnt know how to install it at first, but then I thought it a little bit and I did this: went to My Pc, right click, Properties, Hardware tab, Device Manager,Soundcard devices or Other Devices, Right Click and proper
