(In Vista)This driver solved the unknown device problem in Device Manager listed as Intel ICH8M LPC Interface Controller - 2815 DeviceID ACPI\SNY5001.On Sony's Website the driver is listed as Sony Firmware Extension Parser. I have seen a lot other Sony Vaio(s) wth the same problem.May possibly work in Windows 7 (32-bit) also.
