check DEVICE MANAGER , it should now be an UNKNOWN DEVICE , if not keep uninstalling

and ticking remove software / drivers until it shows UNKNOWN DEVICE.

YOU MUST RESTART PC EVERYTIME YOU REMOVE THESE DRIVERS , so when you have got an

UNKNOWN DEVICE do another restart to make sure its removed ALL instances of old drivers.

Extract sp56957.exe to sp56957 folder with 7 ZIP to see files inside exe.

Then right click WBFDDKSetup.exe in sp56957 and run as ADMINISTRATOR , this will load Validity software

and do some things in background but usually will not load the VF471 driver , go to

DEVICE MANAGER and manually load driver for UNKNOWN DEVICE , browse to the sp56957 folder

and find the Drivers folder , in here select the " WBF_003c_DRV " folder and let

DEVICE MANAGER load the drivers accepting ALL the YES popups.

Once loaded go to Power Management Tab of Validity Sensors in DEVICE MANAGER and de tick :

Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.

RESTART and see if WINDOWS HELLO in SIGN IN options now sees FP Reader.

You should now have :

Control Panel / Programs = Validity WBF DDK 4.3.304.0

Device Manager = Validity Sensors (WBF) (PID=003c)

Version in Driver Tab : 4.3.304.0 04/03/2012"
