Monitor Driver File Double-click the new icon on the desktop. The Self-Extracting window appears and prompts you to extract or unzip to "C:\DELL\DRIVERS\425GD". (Where '425GD' is the name of the file to be downloaded). Write down this path so the executable (I.e.Setup.exe) file can be found later. The Self-Extractor window appears. Click OK. After completing the file extraction, if the Self-Extractor window is still open, close it. Click Start button and then click Run. Type "C:\DELL\DRIVERS\425GD" (where '425GD' is the name of the file) in the Open textbox and then click OK. Follow the on-screen installation instructions.

How to Install a driver from Device Manager

  1. Locate the device and model that is having the issue and double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  2. Select the Driver tab.

  3. Click the Update Driver button and follow the instructions.

In most cases, you will need to reboot your computer in order for the driver update to take effect.
