Audio Driver File, Double-click the new icon on the desktop labeled R97809.EXE. The Self-Extracting window appears and prompts you to extract or unzip to C:\DELL\DRIVERS\R97809. Write down this path so the executable (I.e. Setup.exe) file can be found later. The Self-Extractor window appears. Click OK. After completing the file extraction, if the Self-Extractor window is still open, close it. Click the Start button and then click Run. Type C:\DELL\DRIVERS\R97809 in the Open textboxand then click OK. Follow the on-screen installation instructions.

How to Update OptiPlex GX520 Device Drivers Quickly & Easily

  • In Windows XP, click Start -> Control Panel -> Performance and Maintenance -> System -> Hardware tab -> Device Manager button

How to Install a driver from Device Manager

  1. Locate the device and model that is having the issue and double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  2. Select the Driver tab.

  3. Click the Update Driver button and follow the instructions.
