"this is killin' me. i try to download the driver, most of your ones - despite saying they are for xp - won't work, then, hurrah, i found one that was actually for xp - apparently - but on attempted installation, booo, i am told that it can't find the device. hmmm. maybe i should stick to linux, that found my sound card perfectly. anyway and whatever, many thanks for your
