"This is not the correct driver for this unit to run on XP. The correct driver package is the 1200 UB Plus zip file (listed on this site) and includes setup instructions. I found it to work perfectly."

"Needs inf file to install hardware. Until mustek come up with a better version of their 'xp compatible' driver my scanner is consigned to my old windows 98 PC. Worse luck!"

"Situation: the install CD looked for sbusd.dll and asked for the XP CD, which of course didn't have the required file either. I downloaded the install programmes from the Mustek site, followed their instructions and had exactly the same problem.

This driver worked. First time."

"downloaded file to desktop folder as a "save" instead of "run". It will not execute. Says a temporary file needed to initiate program was not found are is unavailable. So can't say 100% it doesn't work. Just won't work on my XP system."

"The driver got the scanner working but will only allow me to scan a full pass, the interface usually available to Graphincs software etc does not appear when requested."
