If you tried to install the device MANUALLY via the drivers on the cd with the "found new hardware wizard", it may come up not working even after you install the software "their" way until you use THESE drivers in that same hardware wizard (or simply copy the drivers directory to your hard drive and copy the files not in the 2000 directory into the 2000 directory and use that as the driver directory in the hardware wizard).
