"Srs. lamento informar que de todos los drivers q he bajado tanto de este sitio como de muchos otros para cmi8330/c3d indicados como aptos para Win XP o Todas las verciones de Win Funcionan mal o no funcinan. Los WDM cuando funcionan distorcionan el sonido y no abilitan la funcion "silencio", los WSS ,cuando logran instalarse, presentan en sus propiedades el mensa

"driver loads fine with Windows 98SE. causes Windows error messages on shut down; keeps repeating the same sound until you shut down."

"There is no driver for XP for this chipset. C-Media has a win2000 driver that will give you basic functionality but it really doesn't work all that well. cmedia.com.tw select downloads and then CMI8330."

"XP users for CMI8330 see the following email address and try www.cmedia.com.tw/edl8330.htm and select " Windows2000/ME(WDM)" all 4 driver requirements for CMedia will work except 1 but the sound and mic will function OK. Thanks"

"I think you'll find that this is the sound driver for onboard audio adapter. Not, as is listed for CD-Rom. Also it covers win 95/8 not, as is also listed winXP. I think someone was trying to win something so posted anything they had lying around!!!!!!!!!"
