"Wasted a whole day trying to get the Conexient modem to work in my VIAO PCG-FX210. I'm getting rid of this computer & buying a new non-Sony brand. Not worth the time."

"I was having the "Open 1" failure problem too. I created a separate directory on my hard drive for this driver. I uninstalled all previous modem drivers and rebooted. On reboot, I canceled the Windows automatic driver search operation. I went to the directory in which I had saved the coc522xnkh.exe file and opened it. It worked fine."

"I got the same "open file 1 failed" error. I have the fx215...I've loaded XP pro...this could be the problem, since Sony says it's only for Home version. if someone could just get the drivers out of the install package, i bet they would work."
