"This Alps dual pointing device driver comes from the Dell web site.

It is not an XP driver even though Dell says that it is.

The notes contained in the file all refer to Windows 2000.

It does not work with XP.

There are no XP drivers available for the Dell CPx laptops to support

the Alps Dual Pointing Device."

"I used this driver on a Sony Vaio PCG-F630 Notebook PC

and it worked great for scrolling vertical and horizonal

all features worked!"

"Found issue when Integrated with Intellimouse (4.01). When Pointer Tails or Location of Pointer (CTRL Key) are set, it will not be remembered when you reboot. The values set in the rgistry are not maintained. I have looked a better driver but none found thus far."

"Works Flawless in XP, and integrates with Intellimouse (4.2) perfectly. I installed this driver on my Micron XKE running XP. I had another driver (newer version than this one) from a Russian site (Contains ALPS Graphic) and I couldn't seem to get "Easy Capture" to work. It works great in this driver. This Driver has all the functions of the ALPS version I use on my Win
