"After installed this driver, my NIC had a IRQ conflict with modem. Both are using IRQ 10. Does anybody know how to change those IRQ's? I'm using a M581 PCChips motherboard, I don't have original CD and manual and in the BIOS I have no option to change it!!! Thanks in advance."

"I could not completely download anything. It would get to 99% and go back to the code, and tell me to type in the code to download. As far as I know, cookies are enabled on my computer so there was a display, but do not know if it is valid."

"My HSP56 modem is an onboard device incorpoarted in a single chip with sound device. There are so many HSP56 drivers here. This is the only one that works. Thanks."

"Many Thanks to Danny, his comment re the "PCI Communications Controller" under the "other devices" helped me install the modem after being frustrated for a while - install the driver throught his device and problem solved with XP not recognising driver on C drive."

"I have an HSP internal modem which worked fine with Windows 98. I've now installed Windows XP and it just doesn't recognise this modem. It dows recognise a "PCI Communications Controller" under the "other devices" section of the device manager, but I have not been able to install any driver. Help is most appreciated."

"Wow! My congratulations, this driver is the one which works finally!!! To the guy who was missing an .exe file go to control panel, add harware and let xp search for the modem. if it asks for a location of a convenient driver, give the location of the folder where you stored the driver. the rest should work out by itself."
