"Go to WWW.Pinnaclesys.com, BTW running under WIN2000 you have to set the IRQ in such a way that the ACPI is disabled and that the standard PC is configured in the properties, PCTV will not work using shared IRQ which is built in to some new mainboards . "Try the conexant driver at beta.driverguide.com/beta/index.php?action=dosearch&fs=0&qa5=4&qa6=247&qa7=1999&dp=3 and Download BtInstaller.exe. This is not the originall pinnacle driver but same chipset. It should work as it worked on mine. good luck"

"Try this!!! Use the PCTV-Gen5 twain drivers. But don't install the software. Now you can capture videos using a different applications on Xp. I did this to clear up my device manager... But I still have a dual boot system so I can create vcds easy."

"Hey! The best way to use Pinnacle Studio Vcd under Win2k or WinXP... I think last option DUAL BOOT under Win98. And btw Johathan Flowler driver not only "STUPID" but waste of time to download. IT SUCKS!!!"

"get same error THP878 If anyone has workaround or driver for WIN2000 Studio VCD, I downloaded editor/player 2.51 but this will not install on 2000 either. But if you manually run setup from software CD will install/run (Ver 2.0) but the card won't install!"
