"didnot work with particular modem but in fairness was not sure of version numbers as modem was not marked well. but install was easy and xp warned it was not compatible with this PARTICULAR modem"

"how do i update my sm56 modem after i got 1/2 way through changing my OS from windows2000PRO to XP PRO? i got this massage in the middle of the OS upgrade and can't go any were. It ask me to put the SM56.EXE for windows 2000. I did it from a CD rom and it didn't take it. i got the SM56.exe on 2 flopy disks but i'm not home yet to try it. Let me know if there is another wa
