Driver was installed but my anti-virus software would not allow me to run it and said the originator was not recognized. It advised deletion, which I have done.

My ScanPanel application lost a dll file in a recent reinstall of Windows. I hoped reinstalling/updating the scanner software would solve the problem, but no luck."

Install origional software.

Connect scanner.

Xp will recognise usb device.

choose install software automatic.

Xp starts internal handling.

Xp offers four options for driver programs choose windows 2000.

"Cannot stand another heartbreak. I need a driver for Artec Ultima 2000 and not 2000e. My own scanner CD has all versions of Windows except XP - 98, 2000, ME, NT. So I suppose I will have just to go out and buy another scanner. Never another Artec."

For all I care it could be a 26MB download or something, and could take ages and cost loads to download at home. Do the world a favour - put the bloody file size."
