"This driver works well with the Smartlink SL2800 56k modem chipset. The install executable works well or you can manually install the driver. either way, i've been looking for this driver for months! now i can get this lousy modem working"

"This driver was still out of date but was newer then what i had..easy to load easy to use ..I found i could never hear my modem sound thru my speakers but i could after loading this driver update."

"This is really the latest driver for Smart Link 56K Modem. When you visit Smart Link web site asking them for the drivers then it says that they no longer support the modem. However, they said that Conexant had has bought them already so they recommand you to download the drivers from Conexant. But still, Conexant don't have the drivers and they really doesn't mention abou

"Install was confusing. Archive came with a setup utility that didn't really set up the modem. Windows "Found New Hardware" dialog couldn't find necessary files. Result: modem dialed but wouldn't connect."
