"The directions were not complete. Once I extracted the files, I was able to update the bios. I was trying to resolve an issue with the primary & secondary ide controllers. this problem may be unrelated to the bios. Computer worked fine after the install of this driver/"

"Thanks!

Read the readme file, (it's safe to unzip, open & wordpad the readme)it makes the install pretty easy for those who can't remember how to dos/com.

Formatted a /s floppy then loaded the bios onto it. Rebooted & installed, took care of the HiMem problem.

Now I have an ACPI compliant bios & have installed W2000."
