"I hsve a new P4 with a 3ghz processor. When I tried to instal the driver for XP, I got a message that this driver cannot be installed in a system with multiple proceessors. I only have 1 processor."

"Follow-up on prior posting Technician at Dell was no help at all for this problem. I contacted SONY at 1-888-449-SONY Sony stated The error stating that the program cannot be installed on a multiprocessor system will be displayed when attempting to install the drivers for the floppy disc adapter for the Memory StickŪ media in a computer utilizing Hyper-Threading technol

"I get a message This program cannot be installed on multiple processor systems. Installation aborted. I have no clue what that means, this is a new computer with Windows XP. I will contact Dell to see what they suggest."

"What the heck happened? I downloaded it, went to the file to uncompress it, and that was it. Where the heck is the program? I downloaded it again to open on my desktop. It didn't. How can I download this driver so that my disk adaptor will work with Windows xp?"

"It did not work. Im not sure why, but the floppy drive I have is external connected to the notebook via USB. I used the driver but it did not work. Does it matter what version of XP I'm using?"
