Additional Notes

This Driver DOES work!!! After installing, you MUST immediately restart your system. After you have done so, go back to the folder you installed it into, and run the Scantest.exe file and click "verify port" and vuala! Now just use some scanning program that works on XP. Adobe Active Share is free and seems to work for me! Any questions, email me.
