"It worked with Razor method's. A bit annoying but it really worked. Many thanx to Razor. For the newbies:You uninstall any version of a previous driver for Mustek 1200 CP, then you go to Start/Control Panel/ Scanners and cameras/ Add an imaging device. "After trying 3 other downloads, this one finally made my Mustek A4 EPP scanner work. And it works with my Adobe Photo Deluxe program (which my UMax scanner never did). Many thanks to the member who put this on here."

"OK! This is it! How to install it under XP - install a scanner for which XP has it's own drivers (let's say UMAX Astra 610P) - install the Mustek 1200 CP drivers (from this website, 1200CPXP.exe) - install the Mustek drivers over the UMAX drivers - delete UMAX from Control Panel -> Scanners & Cameras And it should work. You won't be able to see it in Control Panel, but

"I can't get this driver to work. I have four devices listed in Device Manager, and I can't remove any of them cause I get a message reporting that the device is needed for the system. How do I remove them?"

"Alright just a few comments on the driver you must install the full package that came with you scanner firt. Do not uninstall it. Then you install this driver over the top. It sucks doing it that way but it works."

"Did not work! Loaded the unistaller and then I manually added the scanner under devices and then it still didn't work. Ran the uninstaller and it did not remove the device from device manager and so far I haven't been able to remove the device due to a message reporting that the device is needed for the system. @?#!@$%^&*()"
