Tested with Windows XP and it works fine. UMAX has NO support for any parallel scanner products - their position is that you have to buy a new one or go back to Windows 98 and buy a new CD from them.

"This download states it is for 2000P, but the driver that shows up in the download is for a USB device. It is not accepted by WinXP when tring to install the Umax Astra 2000P scanner.

It might be a great download for USB, but it was useless for a Parallel scanner.

How to Update 2000P Device Drivers
