"I used this driver to resolve a "no sound after reinstall of OS" issue on a Dell Dimension 4550. The sound (factory ?) card was reported as Creative EMU10K2 Audigy. The Dell resource CD and the latest Dell site drivers were useless for this card. This installation exe labels the card as SB0243. I just clicked the installation exe, later answered to "No&qu

"I had to install a series of drivers and software to end with the correct version of the Creative Playcenter and all the extras...some of the software is for update of an existing installation...the downloads were for the Model SB0100 Live 5.1 and resulted in a good installation and conclusion."

"i only needed some functions to work using this driver, im still not sure if i have used the right driver because i installed this driver over a previous one i downloaded from driver guide. Never the less, i have a fully functioning sound blaster live audio card in my compac pc with win 98se."

"the creative play center was the only thing in the package that worked because the package was for a live card installed in a compac pc, i did get the game port driver from windows update."

"This driver worked on my system (WinXP) with my old Sound Blaster card. I have since upgraded my old motherboard with a newer one with integrated sound. The new MB had its own driver(s) so I'm not using this driver (or board) any more."

"this file got to 97% and froze my computer.. then when i tried to reboot i got the blue screen of death saying system error with file emu10k1m.sys... i had to take my computer back apart and remove the soundcard in order to load windows.."

"trying to get a creative sound blaster ct 4670 sound blaster live! working on a Emachines T6410 with ATI Express200+SB400 chipset in an MSI 7145 motherboard under XP Pro 32 bit. THIS AT LEAST MADE THE AUDIO WORK. IT DID NOT MAKE THE EMU10K1 GAME PORT ("PCI INPUT DEVICE") WORK. I GIVE IT 70% AND "GOOD"."
