"This is one of the most difficult drivers to find that I have ever come across (yes, really), but it actually works. The ac-link sound works only if the ac97 modem is installed first as they are a linked chipset, and a rare combo at that.

The link for the first mirror (optima site in Oz) doesn't work as they have gone (down!)under, but the 2nd mirror is ok.

"Sorry, forgot to say in my previous comment that these drivers work on the ADVENT 7110 which is a re-branded QUANTA CS10 CM-2. Model number is EAA-88."

How to Open Device Manager

  • In Windows 11, Windows 10 & Windows 8.1, right-click the Start menu and select Device Manager

  • In Windows 8, swipe up from the bottom, or right-click anywhere on the desktop and choose "All Apps" -> swipe or scroll right and choose "Control Panel" (under Windows System section) -> Hardware and Sound -> Device Manager
