After installing XP Service Pack 1, my driver for the sound card no longer work, i recieved a message saying driver is incompatible with this version of windows. So i had to use a generic chipset driver. This driver came from www.yamaha.co.jp/english/product/lsi/us/support/downloads.html

How to Install a driver from Device Manager
