"Don't usually post comments, but I just had to for this one. Thank you so much. After nearly an entire afternoon of head banging and hair pulling stress, I discovered your site. The Lexmark driver works perfectly with the Samsung printer. (so far)!!!! Why on earth, can we not download the drivers from the manufacturers site????????

"It really works! Thanks for this driver, Richard. Stops the "new hardware found" message on startup and no longer does my computer reset itself when trying to print from certain programs. I had disconnected the printer in frustration before I found this site. The service is MUCH appreciated!"

"I have the lexmark driver and the samsung driver (version 3.04 available from samsung) both installed for LPT 1. I set the samsung as default, the lexmark just sits there pretending to exist to stop the "found new hardware" message. (I cant remember, but maybe the first time I had to direct windows to the lexmark driver when it first found it after startup). I DO NOT actua

"Actually it DID solve the problem. You have to have this driver installed AS WELL AS as the correct Samsung driver. You keep the samsung printer as default, and as long as this lexmark printer appears to be there it shouldn't give you the "found new driver" message all the time. Obviously it's not straightforward, but if you persevere (like i did!) it does work."
