"This driver works fine with XP. Thanks to Brian Walsh. I downloaded it to floppy. It was a bit tricky to install, I had to installed the original win.2000 drivers and software first (don't use auto run) then in device manager double click the scanner then re-install driver, windows will then search for driver and load it from floppy. done. Hope this helps."

"How do you install it? I've copied the files into a new folder along with copies of the manufacturer's CD-ROM for Windows 98 and that's as far as I've got."

"Much the same lark as Brian Hill. I had to load the 2000 driver using the fix and pointed it to 'run' on the original CD (even if the fix say's it has a problem keep going). Then thru device manager re-install the driver this time pointing it to the unzipped BW1248-winXP.zip files. works OK"
