"The driver worked out fine in Windows XP. To install if you have already plugged in your card (eg upgrading from a previous version of Windows) just go to device manager and select "update driver" from the right-click menu, select the manual update option and point to the folder where the .inf file is extracted. Repeat operation for all devices (4 times in total)

"This worked fine for me, and I found that to alleviate some of the background noise, simply go to Volume Control (%SystemRoot%\System32\sndvol32.exe) and activate the "3D Stereo" feature, which is located under the "Speaker" category. I am running Windows XP Pro with an ISA ALS100 sound card."
