"Unzip ws-m1-5614pm3.zip. This extracts HCFp_WinXP.zip and HCFp_Win98.zip files. Then unzip HCFp_WinXP.zip to ws-m1-5614pm3 folder. Run HXFsetup.exe. OK overwrite of existing (newer) drivers. XP automatically found and installed the modem. Consistently connects at 48K. Installed in Dell Dimension 3000 running XP Home SP2. My modem is generic ws/m1-5614pm3 with M9044 l
