"This worked first time. I had an old Creative WebCam II (Made by Vision, model no. 1100001212) for years and was going to throw it out when I tried this and now people can see my ugly face!!"

"A sufficient driver to go along with it's model number. Simply extract (using such a program as WinRAR) the two files to a folder, then when Adding and Removing hardware, specify the folder where you extracted it to. There you have it, drivers installed! You may then use it during instant messaging, and with such programs as Windows Movie Maker."

"Capture quality poor. But there is no another chance for this device. Even Creative Labs does not support WebCamII USB for WinXP.

In that case this driver the only solution. There is no driver for this device anywhere. So, it's better than nothing."

"This is the only driver that you'll find for the Video blaster II USB version. Not too bad. Does it's job and it's not intrusive. So I guess thats a good thing."

"I didn't use my Creative Video Blaster Webcam II anymore because, surprise, surprise, it didn't work with WinXP. I have DualBoot with Win98SE and WinXP. I had to go to Win98 to use my webcam but than other programs I needed very badly didn't work. So it wasn't great. At this website I found this driver for WinXP (Pro) and it worked! I am so happy! Thanks!"

"that's very hard to find it cuz it is removed from the creative.com's support section... For install, right click on ini file than choose install didn't work for me... i did unrar the cab file than i reconnect usb, and then i located that cab i did unrar... everything is fine now unless the settings for webcam... you'll need the creative webcam monitor and webcam control

"No problem during installation on WinXP (install by guiding the harware wizard to driver's inf file). The quality of picture and the speed is not so good. It performs similar to the Win9x driver."

"Worked great! I had to remove the device and reconnect. Then install the driver. The open device manager, update driver... reinstall the .inf driver. Voila!"
