"Works fine. When I give the order to print, it tells me there is a problem communicating with the printer, but I cancel the warning and it prints.

Funny thing. Once I installed this driver, then Windows installed its own driver, which works faster and without the warning.

Anyway I am grateful"

"Suspect Windows XP already has drivers for this printer. Started installing the driver I downloaded from DriverGuide and got to the part where you specify the port, eg. LPT1. Since there was no USB option I plugged the printer in and XP appeared to install the drivers itself. Ended up cancelling the original installation process."

"Nothing for Windows XP was listed at Compaq. This driver does work with Windows XP."

"The IJ600 printer is actully the Lexmark Inkjet 4103 printer. This printer has been rebranded and sold as the Lexmark Z32. The lexmark drivers offer more support and work better than the compaq ones."
