"this isnt even a driver. cdrom.sys is a system file that is installed with windows. its like calling logonui.exe (the log on screen file) a cdrom driver because it lets you log on and use the cdrom. wtf mang!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"This seems to be a .sys file (from a machine with the UJDA730 successfully installed?) i s'pose it might work with the exact same machine/OS. It would be helpful if the submitter had described his/her setup. Meanwhile can I ask for any info on running this device in my Thinkpad T30 type 236643G XPsp2? "As I am a technician where I was repairing and upgrading a customers system where they lost thier CDROM driver, I needed the proper driver. This was the best place to get it. It works fine."

"I guess we're supposed to install the driver with the device manager, but it doesn't like it. So this was a waste of my time. It doesn't like anything. Dah, I'm trying to update my NIC and that won't work either."
