"The scanner (Visioneer 8900) will not work after installing ServicePack 2 for XP Pro. The drivers are "not" the problem....Microsoft is the problem."

"I downloaded the scanner Driver because the first one would not work. This one would not work either. It would find 95% of scanner then would say CANNOT FIND SCANNER. I want this to work very much but my computer CANNOT find the scanner???????????????"

"Outstanding driver. Scanner works fine, just a little difficult setting up paper port. Download Paper Port 9.0 or above to use with this system and drivers and BINGO!!!"

"Installed well, but did not create links to common applications. Actually, got two drivers at once after the installation: WQHL, which did not work, and another, good one, Visionneer driver. Windows crashed once after an image acquisiton using Fine Reader. Actually, not too bad, I expected even worse results."

"If you're looking for the 8900.exe driver for the OneTouch scanner, it's apparently non-existant on this website. Dang! I guess I'll have to buy another flat-bed scanner from another company that has drivers compatible with Windows XP. I think this site should take off those links since there's no driver there to download."

"The OneTouch 8900 USB Scanner by Visioneer has been a real pain in the a** to keep working. In my experience w/ scanners and software from Win 95B to XP Pro SP1 they are in continual need of driver upgrading, sometimes with very poor results. The 8900 didn't have XP drivers w/ the install CD nor did Visioneer, at the time...so I decided to try driversguide and now the sc

"8700 Visioneer One Touch didn't work with software provided. Downloaded this Driver, FOLLOWED INSTRUCTIONS, and "BINGO" works great with my XP Pro!"
