"This one didn't install under XP on my GQ 3101 box that I bought from The unit came with Linux and they say that they've got windows drivers on their web site, but I've had no luck so far in figuring out how to find the right windows drivers for video, sound and modem.

How to Update C-Media 9738 AC97 CODEC Device Drivers Quickly & Easily

How to Install a driver from Device Manager

  1. Locate the device and model that is having the issue and double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  2. Select the Driver tab.

  3. Click the Update Driver button and follow the instructions.

In most cases, you will need to reboot your computer in order for the driver update to take effect.
