"After installing this one and the AM12e driver I managed to get it working in Paint Shop Pro. If I select the TWAIN source, I can choose between AM12E and Starscan. When I choose Starscan and select acquire source it crashes. But when I first choose AM12E, then acquire source (which gives a few error messages that the device can't be found), then at TWAIN source the Starsc

"I tried to install the new drivers. Unfortunately I get 4 errors. I solved 3 errors, but I could not solve 1 error (the removing of the old drivers before installation of the new drivers). Now my question is on which way can I remove my old drivers. So that I can make my scanner Windows XP compatible."

"I installed the driver under XP. Paint Shop Pro 6 recognizes the driver but when I do Acquire it exits the program without any error message or warning. Anyone has experience with this?"

"It appears that my scanner is not an AM12 but just a simple AM3. As you can see on the FAQ on www2.ultima.com.tw, there will be no drivers for this scanner from Ultima. Perhaps anybody else knows a solution?"

Extract downloaded driver file to your local hard drive 4. Locate the folder from the extraction and highlight the “setup” icon right click on mouse and select properties. 5. Locate the “Compatibility” tab. 6. Check the box

"everytime i want to install am12 e then it says can't find file. First you have to click on dao mcf install aplication and then it says cant find file check distributiondisk"

"set up did not work setupio does but in XP PROF xerox scanner overrules evrythibng in my opinion so I have no success till this moment make working my starlight scanner"

"About this driver. The driver am21e does not work on certain software. I suggest you go to the original website and download am12ep_228.exe This driver manages to get the starscan driver to work on other software to under windows XP"
