"a fantastic driver got to love those that submit a good driver thanks guys

works on my 2k system and my xp pro with sp2 windows would not recognise it as a modem or offer a driver but with this file its all over now nice job guys

the chip also said mexico on it it is a rockwell connexant driver this works fantastic for me thanks again"

"Driver seems to work ok. All I had to go on was the number on one of the chips on the Modem - RS56/SP-PCI11P1 R6793-21. Turns out that this is a MSP3880SP-W 56K PCI Modem (not that that's stamped anywhere on the card). Had to have a couple of goes to install the thing on Win XP but the driver worked fine once I got it installed. By fine, I mean I can log on to the net with

"Seems to work well, but must be installed manually, not by windows auto search wizard. Use the wizard and navigate to "Have disk". Select modem type and should install without hassle.

Note: details on chip are:

PS56/SP-PCI11P1

R6793-21

"This driver wasn't one that windows saw as being compatible with the particular modem i have. I could have forced it to install the driver but i shouldnt have to do that. This driver may work with other modems though so by all means give it a go."

"Exactly the same code written on the modem as described,

RS56 pci11p1 r6793-21 but when XP searches in that folder with the downloaded and unzipped files, cannot find it!"
