"must have gotten the wrong version... IT is a shame that the drivers listed for this network, don't list the version number of the card."

"driver bluescreened and even crashed on startup. had to remove it in safe mode. does not have winME drivers and does not support version 5 of the card"

"I got no action on this driver linksys.zip and a dialog box saying that this driver doesn't belong to this hardware,so I don't if this is the right one for this card."

"Do not run install!!! Zip to a folder, then when asked for the driver, go to that folder. Will install auto."

"I ultimatley had to go to the Linksys website for the correct driver, however 98 told me this was the driver I wanted. It did not work with my card, but it is a valid LNE100tx driver."

"This might have been the driver for my card. But, unfortunately it did not have the Windos 98 folder on it. I think it is mostly for NT and others."

"The driver actually does work.

Initial first few install attempts did not fully install all the files

needed (both from this driver AND from win98 cd-rom).

This showed up as a /!\ triangle in Device Manager.

System accepted it after 6 or 7 attempts (various work-arounds used).

Only then did the card work."

"Driver works fine, can be downloaded at the Linksys site as well. The only reason I rated the installation as average is because of the way Linksys wrote it. It will ask you for the location of the next file within the same folder, you have to show it where it has been,, no big deal though, just that it might throw some folks off as to what the issiue is.

"this win2k driver is such a biatch to get working... install, install.. over and over again.. eventually the thing works. Try in VGA mode. Then remove.. go back to normal and reinstall a few times to get the thing to work. P.S. If you dont have a problem getting the LNE100TX Ver.2 installed on win2K.. Im an idiot. /"
