"Followed a recommendation on a bulletin board that this driver will run Atheros wireless cards under XP on VIA/AMD motherboards without freezing. Forced my system to use it for my Gigabyte WIAG01 mini-PCI card instead of the Gigabyte or Atheros drivers, and it has worked perfectly. (Have had regular system freezes with all the other drivers I tried.)I have an Acer Aspire 1

"This utility does not even run on a fresh install of WinXP - throws up a "Runtime Error!" - "This application has requested the Runtime to terminate in an unusual way".

Remove XP support if you can't be bothered to check simple stuff like this."
