"I had tried unsuccessfully to get this old camera to work under Windows XP with the original driver, and feared that no support for XP was available. I haven't used it enough to vouch for stability, but it installed easily and worked the first time."

"This file is totally useless. For anyone who needs the software, Panasonic does have it but you must call there consumer electronics number listed on the website. They will send you the software on CD if you wish. I had this same problem with Win98SE and they sent me the software of which I still have the CD but now have XP!"

"I did it. You download the drivers and you can't get them to work. So, you call 1-800-272-7033 and a very knowledgable Panasonic person helps you execute the file. It was easy. Make sure they stay on the line until you are actually downloading your pictures. I had to call back when I didn't know how to finish. Took about 10 minutes. I am very happy now."

"I have a PV-SD4090 Panasonic digital camera. Can't get a driver from Panasonic (tried and tried) and although I was happy to see the help here, it didn't work either. I, too, didn't get any .exe files and hence cannot use my camera on the PC. Can you, Jim, or anyone else help, please? Irv"

"I tried to download the driver you posted for the Panasonic PV-SD4090. Only downloaded two files readme!.txt Usbsdd.inf XP home couldn't install. There was no executable .exe file. What am I doing wrong? Any help would be appreciated,"
