"If you need to run an "Advanced Setup" to set the modem up around a different encapsulation to suit your ISP (e.g. PPPoE instead of PPPoA), get into the AMECFG.ini file prior to running the setup program.

Using the file, you can enable the different encapsulation options, AND show a screen showing the options during the setup procedure.

e.g.

If you've already installed the driver, uninstall it - edit the AMECFG.ini file and then try again."
