"havent got the win 2000 driver, only got the me driver. so cant find a driver that will work, operating system is wid xp pro, help please."

"At last i found a driver that works on XP for this scanner. thanks alot to ddperrysr for the driver. To install the driver -insert the USB Scanner Installation CD into your pc. -extract the zip file that's been downloaded from this site. -run the fixwinxp.exe file. -after that the installation from the cd should run automatically, and everything runs like the normal insta

"Mustek tarayıcımı Windows XP'de çalıştırmak için XPtool programını yükledim ancak hala çalışmıyor. Ne yapmalıyım? 1. Başlat--->Çalıştır komutu ile gelen pencereye regedit yazıp enter tuşuna basın. 2. Kayıt--->Kayıt dosyası ver komutu ile karşınıza gelen pencerede dosya adı kısmına regyed yazıp enter tuşuna basın. Bu işlem ile regedit dosyanızın yedeğini almış oluyorsunuz

"i driver per lo scanner scanmagic 1200 usb scaricati dal sito della mustek, non sono aviabili in ambiente windows xp, il messaggio che viene visualizzato avvverte che i drivers in questione sono per windows 2000 e non come è descritto dalla nota che accompagna il download."

"once I "installed" the drivers I went to scanners and cameras, it wasn't there. So I went to device manager and saw "USB Device" then update driver, selected windows/inf for location and hey presto"

"Partial success! Driver appears to be installed. Test under Scanners and Cameras (within Control Panel) works. However, I have no Direct Scan Icon to do proper scanning! Any ideas what has gone wrong?"

"hi guyz! this driver is the right one for 1200 usb model. the trick is to find the the inf file which is hidden under windows folder. c \windows\inf\other. the \inf folder is hidden so be sure to "show hidden files and folder" under "folder option" first. Salamat!"

"My UB 1200 came bundled with Windows ME. No drivers I have found, so far, will get it to work on 2000Pro (even the one from Mustek's site!). This one sounds good but my WINZIP 8.0 couldn't unzip it! Grateful for any suggestions."

"This is the Win2000 drivers with another 'fix' so that it will try and trick the OS into thinking its 2000? The install for this scanner has teh following files. web.exe web.w02 web.w03 web.w04 web.w05 be weary of anything else for XP adn the 1200 UB.. i have found the correct files and they are now up."
