"I did download this driver and although there was a difference in size, It was the same one I had downloaded from an other site. I did try it and Win98 did not recognize it. I have had the hardest time finding a driver for the Netgear NIC. I have bought 3 network and installed 3 home networks using six of this cards and they are working just fine. "If you have trouble in Windows 2000 getting the card to work, try booting from a DOS disk (Win98 upgrade floppy is fine) and set the card to PnP. This should get the thing detected under Win2K. Apart from that, works fine, though may detect as a Novell Compatible."

"Correct drivers. NOTE apparently this is a self-extracting zip file, as it did not give me a choice of where to download it to (automatically went to a Temp folder), and then auto-unzipped 9 folders & 15 files to the Desktop."
